Fudgsicles for the Health Conscious Kid at Heart

Did anyone else love fudgsicles growing up? It was a summer staple in my house, but as I got older they were fewer and far in between. I have found a healthy recipe from Kris Carr that mimics the creamy, chocolatey goodness of the famous fudgsicle. Plus it's so simple, it's only three ingredients!

  • 2 ripe avocados (Source of healthy fat)
  • 1/2 cup male syrup (Source of trace minerals)
  • 1/4 raw cacao powder (Source of antioxidants)

Remove pit and scoop avocado out of its shell. Combine all three ingredients into a blender. Spoon mixture into popsicle forms to the top and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours. This recipe yields approximately four servings based on the size of your popsicle forms.
